Respectful, comforting memorials are performed according to your religious, spiritual, or secular tradition. Your preferences will be honored, without exception, for the appropriate farewell of your loved one.
It is a deep passion and privilege for me to craft and celebrate memorials that speak to the loss of your cherished deceased. A eulogy and remembrance that pays worthy tribute to their life essence and contributions, and to their legacy. Personalized memorials are absolutely essential for healing to unfold for the bereaved, and sorely missing in our culture. I am truly passionate about memorials as an important life passage which provide closure for both the deceased and the bereaved.
Scripture and readings hold much value for many, and I include them as requested and desired. And I hear time and again that people are often left longing for their loved ones to be personally honored, and that is my highest intent.
We begin with a phone conversation, where I'll ask initial questions and request further information that will help me get to know the deceased in a very real way. Photographs, videos, stories, mementoes, and personal biographies are all a big help. From this I craft the service, which I will personally deliver on the day of the memorial. Typically, these are in-person, however I also offer pre-recorded or live celebrations via Zoom or a similar medium for those who live anywhere in the world.
If you've lost, or in the painful process of losing a loved a one, and are looking for a way to say your heart-felt goodbye, or if you'd like to prepare your own memorial ahead of time, please contact me here or you may reach me by phone at 828.429.0096. You are not alone.
Memorials begin at $300.
A few testimonials:
Analisa came recommended to us by my dad, who, having attended a celebration of life she conducted, declared it "by far the best memorial" he had ever experienced. Working with her on Mom's service was a pleasure. She is so easy to talk to, and so professional with business details. (Those of us who need a little extra order during times of duress really appreciate this kind of reliability!) She did a beautiful job blending Mom's wishes with ours, and attendees are still gushing about the service weeks later. ---Olivia Martin, NC
When my beloved husband died unexpectedly, I remembered we had talked about having a green burial on our land. I loved the idea of him being up on the hill (now I have solar lights on the grave and see him twinkling at me at night!). Our local funeral home had never done anything like this before and Analisa went with me and described how it could be done. They were terrific, digging the grave for us, hiding the dirt and bringing him to the grave, while she presided over his graveside memorial service. Analisa has a unique capacity to bring people together, honor the departed, and bring the spirit of love and compassion to the service. I was so grateful for this. Then, last year, I witnessed her do the same for a much larger group who were honoring the life and loss of a young man in his thirties - a man lost to addiction. Once again the group came together and were able to speak from their hearts. Analisa has agreed to do my green burial and ceremony when that time comes, and I know that she will minister to my loved ones tenderly. ---Lynne Parsons, NC
Please be sure you outlive me - you must perform my memorial service when my time comes.---Billy D, WA
That was the most beautiful eulogy I have ever heard. May I have a copy, please? Father Rod, MT.
